The Ravenwood Crew

A crew formed by Captain Corbinaux Lovair, a former infamous sky pirate. The crew itself is made up of mercenaries, artisans, merchants and wanderers.The group decidedly gets into several different avenues of going about their work; taking up contracts from the adventurer's guilds when a threat or interest needs be handled, explored, or otherwise.
Meeting potential business partners, exporting valuable goods, escorting VIPs or creating long-term business contracts.Ravenwood shares a fond bond with one another in their small, tight-knit group. They are nonetheless welcoming to newcomers who show initiative and a want to adventure.Be it a potential business partner, crew member or a friend, it's quite likely that Ravenwood has a place for you in their midst!

The Community (OOC)

Hello there!
This group started as an RP guild on World of Warcraft many years ago, moving to Final Fantasy XIV around 2019. We are a small group of friends who love meeting new people, sharing stories, creative ideas and all around just hanging out with one another whether it be shooting the shit, playing vidya, or RPing.At the core, we are all avid TTRPG players and writers, which shows in the events we run in FFXIV. We essentially use the D&D 5e system and even do voice RP for our private events (though it's encouraged, it's not required).Most (if not all) of the group are working adults and thus we don't have a busy schedule. One or two scheduled events a week are the norm with one being for RP and another being for social nights.

How to Join?

So, you want to join in on the adventure? There's a few things to consider first before you make your way on board!

IC Requirements

ICly we don't ask for much in terms of a character joining as we're more focused on the player behind the character, that being said there are still certain qualities that we look for in characters that join.Otherwise we're pretty open to ideas as long as it fits with the theme of the game and it isn't too far-fetched.

• No WoLs / Super Soldiers / OP mfs / Canon Characters

OOC Requirements

This is the part where I express that when we welcome a new member into our goofy fold, we're looking for more than just another player at the table - we're looking for a friend! Overall we just ask people to be friendly, show initiative, and communicate openly.To avoid potential heartbreak and wasted time, here are some requirements.

• Both you and your character should be 21+. No exceptions.
• Consistently attend RP events (Usually on Friday or Sunday @ 6PM PST).
• Can handle the occasional bad joke or dark humor.
• Respectful when asked to relax on a certain topic.
• Keeps politics to a minimum.
